Note: Another option is to copy and paste the text of the form letter into a word processing program such as Microsoft Word. Then you can customize or personalize the letter for even greater impact.

Note: You can send e-mail to your elected officials from the link above. However, The Campaign suggests mailing our form letters by U.S. Postal Service rather than sending e-mail. Mailed letters have much more impact than e-mail.
E-mail is great for sending comments to government agencies, the media and companies. But personal letters and form letters work best for members of Congress.
